Bio

Key of V is an Pennsylvania-based Low-fi melodious acoustical punk duo comprised of experimental sisters Erin and Val LaCerra. They have self-released two full-length albums, “Songs in the Key of V (2008)” and "Things We Drew From the Treacle Well (2010)." Key of V has also released two E.P.’s: one called called “E.D.”—aimed at raising awareness about the prevalence and causes of eating disorders in American culture, and one called "Frack is Whack E.P.," aimed at exposing the social and environmental harmfulness of the hydraulic fracturing process used to extract natural gas in their area. Key of V also helps host and headline the Absorb Festival of Williamsport, PA, which promotes diversity and unity through a showcase of local bands from mixed musical genres.

Key of V started as an experimental recording project between the two sisters in 2006. Key of V hit the streets in 2007, and by 2008 were integrated into their local music scene and made a presence in metropolitan cities.
