Written and Produced alternate rock track with Raquel, ( former member of Prince ) for Nikki Record, worked with Dr. Dre ,Ice cube etc.
Keypunch's objective is to simply create music entities that bring a new form of energy and life to the music industry. Keypunch's music stands alone like Micheal Jackson and Prince and many other great artists. My nickname,"Keypunch" was given to me by Dr. Dre who combined my childhood nickname, "Puncho" and the fact that I played keyboards and that I was able to create dope tracks and whatever I did it always went to another level.
Keypunch displays personality and image through
the music. I was born in Los Angeles from a family of musicains that played professionally in the music industry with such artist as: Motown's little Richard, Diana Ross, Chaka khan, Rick James etc.
I started playing drums at 4 years old in chruch.
In the third grade I started playing trumpet
and taking Piano lessons. I played in shows,
Concert bands, jazz bands and Marching bands
though my school years. At a young age I would
gather all my cousins together to sing while I
played the piano. I would put two tape machines
together to overdub the music and vocals to
make songs. I discovered at a young age that I
had a great ear of hearing and understanding
sound and frequency vibration. I later went on to
college to study Harmony Theory 1&2 and Music Business. I worked in studios on projects etc.
Given all thanks to God and my Grandmother, I am now a Producer,Songwriter,Composer and arranger.
My goal and concept of Keypunch Entertainment
LLC, is to not only to create successful music but also to create an Entetainment and Record company that will hold film,television,video,
management division and Keypunch Music Publishing Company. To fulfil the dreams and
expectations of those talented people who desire
to acquire a quality " Finished Product" and
showcasing their talent and to satisfy the
demands of such entertainment perfomances.
