"The Tropolitan Says:"

"It may seem ridiculous to go searching for entrancing, detaching poetic music in Alabama.
-It may seem even more bizarre to find those characteristics without a twangy country accent and a high-falutin' fiddle player.
Yet a band without the twang has called AL home for quite some time now and the founder and his band is called Keyton.
Starting out as a solo acoustic act, Keyton recently picked up a bassist and drummer to be a part of the band.
With EP "Dearly Departed, Dearly Dependent" flooding the iPods of indie kids across the state, Keyton creates a sound that doesn't conform to the cookie cutter artists that are blasted across radio airwaves.
Creating sounds even in the silence between hallowing choruses, the trio never settles with a certain tempo.
From upbeat, quick and catchy tunes such as 'Julius Seize Her' and 'It's Getting Late' to the intimate, whispery track 'A Heavy Heart Always Sinks,' Keyton's tracks are everything that is fresh."
