Bio

Straight out of Dublin,Ireland.
Originally a three piece group, featuring classical piano and incredible guitar playing by Glover; Intricate, clever and often socially humorous rap by Luke and silky smooth but powerful lead vocals by Andy, we set off for Los Angeles to create our sound. Working with many local rappers and R'n'B singers , we began to understand what we wanted and started on building a unique sound. After soaking in everything we could from LA or as we like to call it “The Music Metropolis”, we jetted to Florida to wade into the dance capital of America, Miami. It was in Florida that we met Drummer Gary Grant, in a place called Key West. Gary was drumming in a local Irish pub and when we heard his accent we knew he was Irish and got chatting. Turns out he was in key west on holiday with his Canadian fiancée, who he met while touring America drumming for “Riverdance”. She was a dancer on the show. Pretty soon we commandeered the stage and instruments and rocked the bar in an “off the cuff” totally unrehearsed jam. We loved the addition of the live kit and Gary joined the crusade. After returning to Ireland with a firm grasp on the sound we wanted we added rock guitarist and bass player Craig Spain to become a five piece band. We got serious and built a studio in our house in Tallaght, where we now all live together. Except Gary who obviously lives with his fiancée. We put what we learned in L.A to good use and began our album.

We use elements of rap, rock, R&B and pop to create our sound. Since then we have toured with indie rock, pop-punk bands, Hip-hop and Pop acts. We didn't fit comfortably into any one specific genre, but were received very comfortably by all. Instead of the conventional looped samples and canned beats of a hip hop sound we use live instruments and musicians. Fusing an original hip-hop/soft rock sound with crisp guitar rhythms, deep melodic bass lines, and head cracking beats. We released our début single, a laid back summer jam called “ livin' in the summertime” in August 2008 and it went straight into the Irish Charts at number 8.We survived in the top 20 for a number of weeks and our next single is already gaining momentum on the airwaves and due out November 21st 2008.
