Mutumbo Music (Khaaliq)

Isaiyah Johnson AKA "Khaaliq" started with an interest in music as a child, growing up writing rhymes in any notebook found. " My mom told me when i was younger she didnt want that life for me and that she didn't approve of it, so for a while I didn't write music anymore because of her input. A couple of years later at about age 15 I would be at the lunch table with my friends just joking around beating on the table with pencils freestyling, and for whatever reason i always felt like I had to try my hardest then realizing that i actually had talent. From that point on I took my music very seriously and down the line even invested in it by buying a bunch of studio equipment and recording songs. Now I can say that music is my life and thats all i want for my future."
Khaaliq's influences in Hip Hop/Rap music include: Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Lupe Fiasco, 50 Cent, T.I., Jadakiss, Mike Jones, Nas, Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, etc.
What set's Khaaliq apart from the others, is the ability to structure a song that's not only entirely produced by him but bringing a flawless track to the table that has it's own style and flow with a melody that will keep your ears glued to the speaker for days.
