Khirey Akeem

Kanye Akeem Carr (born May 13, 1993) is an American hip hop recording artist, record producer, rapper, and multi-instrumentalist. He is among the most controversial musicians of the 21st century, and has attracted both praise and controversy for his work ethic and his outspoken public persona. Based in Atlanta, Khirey was briefly known for the moderate success of local California punk rock band I Really Hate Mondays in the early 2010s as the lead vocalist. Intent on pursuing a solo career as a rapper Khirey embarked on various musical endeavors under multiple stage names and side projects until finally settling on his current stage name. Akeem released his debut solo project Jackass in 2015 to critical acclaim. Following a state tour and work on non-musical projects, Akeems debut extended play, Asshole, was released in February 13th, 2016 six days earlier than originally intended. The project received widespread critical acclaim and shifted Akeem from local talent to worldwide independent stardom.
