Sweet. Sultry. Melodic. Enchanting. But what best describes Khyliesmith? Captivativng! Born and raised in Chicago where musical influences range from the Blues Brothers to Kanye West, Khyliesmith has blended Blues, R&B, Jazz, and Pop and infused it with a sound that ruminates deep from her soul. Khyliesmith is not just another R&B singer, but an enigma that pieces these genres of music together. "I've always sang. I come from a family of singers. During the holidays we'd get together and it would be like the Apollo. Everyone had their own talent, and I fell in love with it."
Currently, Khyliesmith can be found working in the studio on her debut album. With the exception of a remake of Silly by Deniece Williams, all songs are solely written and arranged by Khyliesmith. This is where you will notice her depth and range as well as creativity and originality. A singer and born performer, you can also see her perfecting and refining her craft at various events. In July, Khyliesmith can be seen performing at Club Lomar in Chicago for a 4th of July event as well as performing in Nashville in December at an unspecified location.
