Bio
All from Cape Breton ranging in age from 24 to 39. Full of energy and ideas the three guys in the band have known each other since they have been 14 and,15 years old making the rhythm and percussions mint .....they cover some songs that other five piece bands don't tackle and nail them. Ashley the newest and youngest member of the band brought new energy and a strong stage presence. That was four years ago that "KICK" started. They have pretty much played the bar scene from one end of Cape Breton back to the other. From Inverness and Cheticamp to Sydney mines to Glace bay ,with more than one story to tell.
KICK is lucky,because of the age gap between Ashley and the guys they have the influences from both ends of the spectrum. They have strong male and female vocalist so there is nothing they can't overcome. KICK is bonded they are a family, no really they are family Ashley is married to the drummer Mike and Andrew the guitar player is the god father of their son ....so they really are a family. KICK is commited to making music,especialy their own music and not just,
"kick ass" cover tunes at the local bar scene.
