Bio
The Long Beach, CA trio Kicked Out, who, after a string of demo's, EP's, and acclaimed live shows are ready to flood your eardrums with their own full-length album debut coming to you in May 2008.
Kicked Out provides a heavy
combination of hard rock-key
changing-melodic sounds. A surge of energy emanates from every note of the commanding guitars and vocal dexterity of front-man Ryan Olivieri. This then leads our sights and sounds to a very powerful and hot female drummer, Lindsay Spence. Lastly we turn our ears to the strong musical backbone to most of their melodic genius, Michael Millar, who writes, plays bass and sings on some of the body-moving tunes.
The name Kicked Out started as a joke with Michael and Lindsay after being asked to leave their previous band. Fortunately, they were soon playing again, this time with the talented Ryan Olivieri; the trio has now been playing together for over three years.
Soon after the formation of Kicked Out they played their first show at DiPiazza's in their hometown of Long Beach, CA. This sparked the flame for their new obsession; playing in front of a live audience. After the success of their first show they played at many venues including Chain Reaction, Hogue Barmichaels, Club Sachi, the Blue Cafe, the Galaxy, the Coach House, the Joint, and other local bars. After much hard work and dedication Kicked Out finally broke into the radio scene on the World Famous KROQ 106.7FM. "This Night", Kicked Out's first single, was featured on the Locals Only show with Kat Corbett, and has continued to garner plenty of airplay for over a year. In the Fall of 2007 KROQ featured Kicked Out alongside 20 other bands on the first ever KROQ Locals Only Compilation CD. KROQ held their inaugural Locals Only concert in February 2008 and chose Kicked Out to be southern California's first taste of KROQ sponsored local music.
In May 2008, Kicked Out, made their radio interview debut on “The Wonderland Experience Show” on Radio Sophie 103.7FM in San Diego.
Keeping their musical flare and originality alive is what makes the music that defines them as musicians and as a band. Together, this trio brings their unmistakably phenomenal sound to the ears of many like nobody's business.
Their Full Length Album, “hey all come and see”, is now available on iTunes and amazon.com.
