In 2012, less than a mere year ago, we all - Kipp Sappier, rhythm guitar, Michael Bernard, lead vocalist, Sean Nicholas, drummer, Kevin Connor Ward, Bass, Frank Simon, lead guitar - came together to form the band Kickin’ Krotch. www.kickinkrotch.com
What is our ‘sound’ you ask? We are a multitude of sounds. All of our music tastes vary which is what makes us work. Our Indigenous heritage plays a large role in our music and showcases the talent of our people. Although we are less than a year old we have compiled a full CD of songs, performed live, and shot two music videos. And our highlight of the year, Being nominated for ECMA "Aboriginal Recording of the Year". Also Been Nominated for "Best Rock Album" of the year at the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Awards.
