K-I-D (The EC Cat) is a 19-year old hip-hop artist and music producer from the San Francisco Bay Area. He’s goal is to put his hometown of El Cerrito on the Bay Area’s music scene and turn his passion into his career. Influenced by rappers and producers including The Cool Kids, Ryan Leslie, Souls of Mischief, Shad, and G-Eazy, K-I-D is addicted to the old school golden era of hip-hop. Being a product of the modern music scene, he also draws influences from club/mainstream acts as well. K-I-D is a versatile artist and producer, which definitely makes him a stand out in today’s competitive music industry. His name K-I-D seeks to capture the creativity and energy of being young while crossing thexplore the essence of relationships, good timaking music that he and others can enjoy.
