"T.L.A. Review"

Originally scheduled for release in June, KiDD Saturday will finally release his new mixtape T.L.A. this Saturday, August 4. Thanks to KiDD Saturday’s team, I was able to get a preview of two tracks from the mixtape: “As You Are” and “Make It Last.”

The song “As You Are” uses elements from Nirvana’s classic song, “Come As You Are.” Daring the listener to “be different,” the Charlotte-based rapper flows about the struggles people may face in life, and to look within themselves to surpass their obstacles and move towards a better future.

The second song, “Make It Last,” demonstrates KiDD Saturday’s potential. Led by a great guitar riff on the beat, he raps with a classic Southern slur in his flow that makes the song great to bump in the car. The mixtape’s producer is Bryce Malone, and so far, things are sounding great ahead of the release.

T.L.A. will be available for download on - Can't Knock The Flow

Still working on that hot first release.

KiDD is a hip-hop artist who finds his music as a safe haven for all looking to escape the real world. A Charlotte native, KiDD Saturday has ventured outside of his home state, North Carolina to open for artists, such as Pigeon John, in L.A. California. He also blessed the stage, opening for Mac Lethal in Hooligans, NC. One of his greatest accomplishments, thus far, is being a hip hop artist selected for the 1st Annual NoDa Summer Musicfest in Charlotte, NC. KiDD Saturday believes he has seen and been through enough, and hopes to bring with him a message for any followers that feel hindered by life. To attain is to achievenothing is handed to you. With one mixtape already out Rhetoric, a recent collaboration mix with DJ Grizzly The Day After, and a new mixtape, T.L.A., KiDD hopes for all to understand that, life forces you to grow up, but always remain true to the kidd inside of you and remember to live.
