Originally scheduled for release in June, KiDD Saturday will finally release his new mixtape T.L.A. this Saturday, August 4. Thanks to KiDD Saturday’s team, I was able to get a preview of two tracks from the mixtape: “As You Are” and “Make It Last.”
The song “As You Are” uses elements from Nirvana’s classic song, “Come As You Are.” Daring the listener to “be different,” the Charlotte-based rapper flows about the struggles people may face in life, and to look within themselves to surpass their obstacles and move towards a better future.
The second song, “Make It Last,” demonstrates KiDD Saturday’s potential. Led by a great guitar riff on the beat, he raps with a classic Southern slur in his flow that makes the song great to bump in the car. The mixtape’s producer is Bryce Malone, and so far, things are sounding great ahead of the release.
T.L.A. will be available for download on DatPiff.com. - Can't Knock The Flow
