Bio

Kid Illest, aka Michael Bringhurst, was born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada in 1990, he has always had a big inspiration in music his whole life, listening to everything from hip hop to classic rock which inspired him to start producing music fresh out of high school. His biggest influence back then was a small rap group out of Minneapolis Minnesota called "Atmosphere", which still influence him to this day. He started out small and started producing hip hop, sampling, and re editing songs until about late 2000's he discovery Electronic Dance Music, Skrillex and Deadmau5 were both his biggest influences in the edm world. Starting out with dubstep Michael Bringhurst came up with the alias "Infinite" because he believed edm was infinite in all sounds and genres. Infinite kept on pushing his music forward and getting his music out there for everybody to hear. He took on DJing to promote his sounds further, starting out in small bars in Vegas he started to notice he was getting a good reaction to his music until one day he got the phone call that he has been waiting for, Keeynote management, Keeynote wanted to work with him and gave him the opportunity to release a six track EP along with 3 interviews, Infinite took that offer on and began the production for the EP. During the process Infinite would do side work and took upon a remix contest and his entry one the contest for most views, most likes, and for best sound, his entry was released on Beatport, Itunes, and Spotify, on a indie record label called "No Ego Records" and his remix climbed the charts in Beatport and reached number 4 in the top 10 and was re-released on another label caled LW Recordings. After sometime of working on his EP Infinite decided to bring his hip hop production back in the works and started producing more and more Trap music with bass heavy 808 kicks and snare rolls. He found that was his sound, that was him, that was his style, and his best work. Every remix, every original, and every set you will hear that bass heavy 808 and a beautiful synthesized drop, but he felt Infinite didn't fit the new him anymore so he changed his name to "Kid Illest" he felt it was a catch and fit his style perfectly. Kid Illest is climbing up and preforming more shows nationally with the help of Keeynote management, he does this for the love of music and for all the people who love his music just as much. and always remember the name Kid Illest.
