Bio

Kid Krak is the self proclaimed leader of the New Houston Movement. Where of course his influences are DJ Screw, FatPat, Hawk, Big Moe, Ghetto Boys, and of course UGK. Coming from a rough upbringing on Houston's notorious Southwest side, his subject matter could be described as "gritty" or "street" but his playful delivery and witty punchlines make it platable to any rap fan's taste. His intricate wordplay paired with hs melodic "sing-song" flow make his style skillful yet accessible.

Krak's debut Mixtape "Blessed Be The Child" (BBTC) is an almost chaotic mix of styles and soundscapes that vary song to song but still manage to be cohesive as a whole. BBTC is making quite an impression in Houston rap circles, and seems to be well on the way to national success due in large part to the lead single "Hunna's". With its infectious sing along chorus and braggadocious metaphors, "Hunna's" is absolutely dripping with club anthem potential. The accompanying video for the record has garnered about 30,000 views and counting.

Krak has a legion of fans that know he will be among those artists that have blown up from Houston. He loves those fans and gives all he can and more at every performance. He doesn't care if there is 5 or 5,000 in the audience, he is going to provide them with the show they came to see.

When all is said and done, Kid Krak's appeal lies in the fact that he makes good musci, flat out. Whether you're in the boardroom or on the block there is something real and relatable about the music he makes. He is well on his way to a promising career.
