Who is Kid Nebula? In-order to understand Ohio Born, Chicago bound artist KID NEBULA, you first have to understand the meaning of “Nebula”. Nebula is a scientific term which describes gases and molecules before they form into a planet or a star, which to Kid Nebula, means” bigger things to come”. Kid Nebula states, “I use that as a motivational name which really describes me best, because no matter how good I’m doing I can always do better, and strive for bigger things to come.
Kid Nebula only being in 6th grade at the time was when he started his journey into music. Hanging around at recess and school lunches he would free-style with the kids. Kid Nebula said that all the kids liked it, so he found a cheap studio to record at, and dropped his first mini-mix tape. From then on, the hobby turned into a passion, and the passion now is turning into a career. Kid Nebula’s major music influences are Coldplay, Mumford N Sons, & Kings of Leon. We asked Kid Nebula, what sets you apart from other artists? Kid Nebula stated, “The biggest thing that sets me apart from other artists is that I always make songs about what I’m thinking; I’m not saying that other artists don't do that, but I feel like no other artist has thoughts like me, or feels like me. The best way to describe me is that I’m human...and my music says that. If you listen to one of my cd's, it goes through the ups and downs, highs and lows, insecurities and cockiness, vulnerability, weaknesses and strengths. Which really is what I pride my abilities on; I make my music out of pure raw emotion. “
Now, being only 19 years old Kid Nebula has opened for Crucial Conflict, LEP Bogus Boys, TiTi Boy, Styles P. and Lil Webbie. He is working on two mix tapes, “The Blackroom” and “Boondock Saints”.
