Kiina are a UK based Neo Soul-Pop band who have just finished recording their EP 'Everyone Knows' at Incognito's Cream Studios in London. Following a successful support slot with Incognito in 2010 the band were excited to start recording at Cream with Mo Hausler and Bluey last Autumn.
Kiina have been picked as a live suppport for Neneh Cherry, Incognito, and Finley Quay. Kiina have signed single song publishing deals with Universal which have led to film syncronisations in Europe and are looking to develop a full time deal with the right publishing company in 2011, as well as playing summer festivals and time in the studio working on their debut album to be released autumn 2011.
Kiina are led by singer songwriter Katarina, a half Swedish - Finn - Brightonian. The band's songs and rich sound can be heard on their new EP and when they perform live in their strong, exciting seven piece ensemble.
Kiina's EP 'Everyone Knows' was mixed and mastered by Al Scott (The Levellers) at Metway Studios in Brighton.
