KJ's music days started in his childhood growing up in Gary, Indiana. The hometown of music greats such as Michael and Janet Jackson. His influences include industry icons such as Donny Hathaway, Phil Collins, Luther Vandross and Fred Hammond."My influences are all over the place. I don't believe in being boxed into one sound or identity. Music is about how you feel at the moment and not how everyone else thinks you should sound. I refuse to be that cookie cutter singer and I think that definitely comes across in my music. My goal is to reach people from all walks of life and ultimately to be able to share my music for free...you know to benefit others."
God has given me a calling to bring people together through music. My music is about God, life and Love. Charity is the number one thing for healthy living and relationships, but it seems to be low on the list of priorities in the world today. I have a responsibility to shine a spotlight on Love between familiesÂ… friendsÂ… and even strangers.
I hope and pray that you will join hands with me in the ministry and help me accomplish what I have set out to do.
