Best when the volume knob is turned up to ear-bleeding levels, Kill City defectors mish-mash of body-shaking rhythms, killers-synths and No days off attitude is sending rabid kids nuts round your way. Hailing from Kildare's Funkier depths, the four piece have been preaching their 24 hour party people message to the masses for just over a year, racking up celebrity fans such as Ron Wood along the way.

Having recently been described by NME as “unmissable” and played support to ‘Fun Lovin Criminals’, ‘The Levellers’ and ‘Republic of Loose’ the band released their debut album in September ’07 to widespread acclaim.

(Large Biog)

In just over a year since their conception ‘Kill City Defectors’ have evolved into a musical force to be reckoned with, winning plaudits from ‘ The Rolling Stones’ Ron Wood and supporting renowned acts such as ‘Republic of Loose’, ‘Fun Lovin Criminals’ and The Levellers.

Their first demo release ‘So Lo’ gained massive critical recognition including Demo of the fortnight, Hotpress Aug 0'5, artists of the month on Kooba fm (London) in Oct 0'5. Demo of the month Connected Magazine Dec 0'5, and was rated among the ‘top three demos’ of last year as voted by Hotpress magazine Journalist Jackie Hayden.

They released their debut single/Video ‘Messed up’ in Oct ‘06. The video has received regular airplay on Channel 6 and the single has been played on 2 fm, Today Fm, Spin Fm, R Na G, as well as all the independent regional stations.

The NME described KCD’S perfectly when they wrote "Best when the volume knob is turned up to ear-bleeding levels, Kill City defectors mish-mash of body-shaking rhythms, killers-synths and Republic of Loose attitude is sending rabid kids nuts round your way. Hailing from Kildare's Funkier depths, the four piece have been preaching their 24 hour party people message to the masses for just over a year, racking up celebrity fans such as Ron Woods along the way. And if debut single 'So Lo' screamed Happy Mondays with it's baggy e-fulled edge, the recently released follow-up 'Messed Up' is the sinister come-down, layered with psychotic synths and blood soaked undertones while an unruly of a beat punches it's way through. C'mon, let's get defected."

Kill City Defectors live show is a sweaty and interactive affair, the audience and the band combine in symbiosis to form a swirling mass of positively and energy which is “Unmissable” according to NME.

The band released their debut album in September ‘07 and have continued to preach their relentless ‘no days off’ message to the masses with eagerness that is ready to flare.
