Kill City Kids is the name of a new project that has risen from the ashes of Go Ghetto Tiger. Performing over 150 shows both locally and nationwide, Go Ghetto Tiger decided to call it quits in February 2011.
KCK incorporates elements of hip hop with a passion for experimental avant garde electronica while under the influence of favourite bands - (Fantomas, Mr Bungle, Soul Coughing, Frank Zappa and composers Les Baxter and Mack David). After two months of writing and programming KCK ep, FAT KIDS FIRST was mixed at Vogville studio.
All songs available for free download on Bandcamp.com. The solo project has now become the full-blown unbelievable band Kill City Kids. The band includes Anna Wynveen (ex GGT) and Ian Lamont from Jackfruit and Lamountasaurus, adding just the right combination of musical talents to bring these songs to the stage, giving them new dimension, making them better with the precision of well-executed open heart surgery combined with the cacophonous abandon of the loudest punk on the block.
KCK is composed for live performance and takes a page out of the Barnum Bailey Circus concept, considering itself to not just be a band but to be a theatrical play about a band.
Desire is to tour the worlds.
