Bio

In late 2005, a band was created in the ever growing, little big city, Tallahassee, Florida. Kill Clouseau (clue~so), is comprised of vocalist and pianist Cody Williford (26), guitarist Ash Von Chamier (26), bassist Jonathan Langley (27), and drummer Nils (Nails) Mann (27). With an eclectic range of influences including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool, The Mars Volta, Coheed and Cambria, Rush, and a wide array of classical composers, their sharp original style has carved its own niche in the independent music scene of the Southeast region of the country. Predominantly rock, the band has had to create a new genre to truly describe its style. Consequently, progressive hook driven rock was born.

After their first few gigs, Kill Clouseau was already creating a buzz as an instrumental band when the final missing piece was realized in the addition of vocalist and ivory tickler Cody Williford. With a “Music before Merchandise” mentality the band is now sitting on 30 plus original songs and is constantly creating new songs and tweaking the old. Their first EP Shark Helicopter was released in 2005 and copies of the album flew out of their hands and off of the merch table. After an impressive run, the six song demo was then posted on their website for free downloading. Thousands of happy fans took advantage of the charitable effort and looked forward to the next release. Now in 2009 Kill Clouseau released their highly anticipated, self titled, full length album. Strong from start to finish, the eleven song masterpiece has been met with rave reviews. Sharing the stage with successful acts such as Bobaflex, Echovalve, Weaksauce, and many others, Kill Clouseau gains throngs of new fans every time their energetic live show is witnessed. Recently the band has joined the Bloodfest tour and much to the surprise of promoters and venues, they impressed even the most zealous metal fans. Planning to tour the Southeast region on the NACA (National Association for Campus Activities) Circuit, Kill Clouseau is spreading its wings and saturating college radio. With the ability to tour months at a time, it won’t be long before the band gets national recognition.
