Killing No Murder

2012 is set to be a big year for Killing No Murder, recently booked to play the Village Pump Folk Festival amongst others, and already receiving radio play in Europe, they are destined for great things.

Killing No Murder was conceived, as many a great idea in the past has been, a drunken idea, formed in a snowstorm, outside a pub.

Lu and Cailean decided it was high time they put their collective talents together and did something with singing and guitars...
After a brief existence as a duo, they quickly attracted the attention of Chris, who brought with him a considerable talent for song writing, smooth vocals and beautifully picked guitar to compliment Cailean’s sensitive yet powerful lead.
With a tranche of original songs to showcase, they recruited multi instrumentalist David on fiddle, thus completing the line up.

Ever since, they have been delighting live audiences with their quirky take on folk music, musically diverse, sometimes unpredictably so, they’ve been likened to the lovechild of the Magic Numbers and the Cranberries, taking influences from many genres to weave original melodies, sometimes foot stomping, sometimes mellow, but always telling honest heartfelt stories with their lyrics.
