"Kill Screen Music - Us The Two Headed Horse"

Åbneren The Sand Is Washing Us Away er endnu en velstruktureret rejse, mens Breathing omvendt holder sig dystert introvert. Sikke en debut. Betagende.

Bio

KILL SCREEN MUSIC’s sound is far from any modern rock you have heard recently - yet it’s strangely recognizable. You float away on the album's melodic pop qualities, only to get pulled right back by the edgy, dynamite rock that subtly hints at the 80s. Released last fall, KILL SCREEN MUSIC’s debut album “Us The 2 Headed Horse”, was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Mads Heldtberg and the crew behind Radiohead’s “In Rainbows”.
KILL SCREEN MUSIC opened the 2010 Roskilde Festival and are just now finishing their first Danish tour. If their album seduced you with its high energy and complex arrangements, KILL SCREEN MUSIC will floor you live. Base player Torleik Mortensen, drummer Anton Eger, and vocal and lead guitarist Johan von Bogenberg Stahl, deliver high energy and explosive shows, that leave you wondering where these danish boys came from, and when you’ll hear more of their music.
The trio has existed for only a year and a half, and KILL SCREEN MUSIC was signed with Universal Denmark even before playing their first live concert. Though the band is green, they have spent five years writing their songs and perfecting their sound, which is more than evident on this ambitious debut album. KILL SCREEN MUSIC is preparing an EP this fall and will play at several Danish festivals this year.
The ambition displayed in KILL SCREEN MUSIC’s talent speaks worlds of their passion, and we can’t wait to unleash them onto the international scene.
