Kill the Dance Floor

Kill the Dance Floor began when brothers Micky and Raul Espinosa decided to up-root themselves from Dallas, Texas and bring their infectious, up-beat, indie/punk roots music to Los Angeles, California. The brothers immediately recruited members Brad Dawson on drums, Billy Goldstein on Bass, and Joey Carr on guitar. The quintet’s lively songs echo back to legends like the Clash, and Fugazi, while mixing newer influences ranging from The Rapture, The Libertines, and Phoenix. Just recently the band has released their first single ‘Hey Manuel’ in anticipation of their full length as of yet to be named. The recording was engineered and mixed by Mr. Doug Grean whose most notable works include Stone Temple Pilots, Sheryl Crow, Velvet Revolver, Slash, Crystal Method, Rickie Lee Jones, and many others just to name a few. With a notable single in hand and known for their fierce live performances Kill the Dance Floor has hit the ground running.
