Kill The Silence

Taking its original birth in summer 2005 after many frustrating and failed attempts at making bands Ex-Guitarist Ant Bennet and Current Bassist Mike Cammarota decided to give it one more shot with nothing left to loose. The band began to come together in a few stages. First Mike and Ant knew they needed a good Lead Guitar player. Mike decided to call Pete Cipparulo a guitar player who he knew was highly skilled after an old band attempt with him. Pete came by Ant's house the first night and a small jam took place. Little did they know what journey began that night. The next step was to find a drummer. Mike and Ant got ahold of friend John Caruso also of the band Verge of Ruin and asked if he knew any drummers. Johns step brother and old drummer of his band was right to fill the spot! Then there were the singers. Many singers have been with this band trying to find the right fit for the sound the band was going for. The singers took place in the order of Sean O'rourke, John Caruso, Rob Wojick, and then the current and final singer Steve Cipparulo. Steve was a surprise, after Rob the band seemed down and out and then all of a sudden Steve said he wanted to try out and knock all of us on our asses! Along with the addition of Steve the band was finally rounded off with the addition of new Guitarist Mike Dermek. Now with 5 fully talented musicians all with experience and skill the chemistry just clicks. Finally to developed its unique sound amongst countless New Jersey screamo bands, Kill The Silence is here to stay. So with the band finalised permenatlly we created a new myspace and recorded new recordings nd will continue playing shows and touring until they collapse.Hopefully to soon find a label to release their debut CD this band will be heard by anyone with ears! ;)
