"(A) rootsy, likable debut..." - St. Paul Pioneer Press
"The young, piano-laced quintet's multiple singer/songwriters are not the only resemblance to the Band on it's album, 'Reading Books About How It's Done,' which also boasts a little Avett Brothers flavor." - Minneapolis Star Tribune

Bio
Kilometers Davis was started ten years ago on Woodland Avenue in Duluth, Minnesota. Initially a band of three, we have expanded our ranks to five and have moved to Minneapolis. We consist of Jeff Gilbertson- vocals/guitar, Gary Malec- vocals/guitar, Steve Gilbertson- vocals/guitar, Ryan Farmer- bass, and Nick Zielinski- drums. We are brought together by our love of diverse styles of music and we are driven by a desire to bring a unique and creative perspective to the traditional medium of the rock band. To that end, we have released our first studio album, Reading Books About How It's Done. Recorded at the Terrarium in Minneapolis, MN by Jason Orris and Rob Oesterlin, the album features guest performances by Ryan Young (bluegrass band Trampled by Turtles), Geoff Senn (jazz group Ingo Bethke), and Brad Townsend (fusion band Arp of the Covenant).
