Bio

Kimberley Dawn Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Kimberley's influences started when she was young with Elvil and Beatles being heard in the house. Singing from a very young age Kimberley performed at the age of 5 at the Winnipeg folk festival held every year in Winnipeg Manitoba. Singing Kareoke performing Kimberley found that this was what she wanted to persue as a career. In 2000 Kimberley met Richard Grouette who was able to help set Kimberley's dreams out by recording a demo album in honour of her Grandmonther Lil Noonan. Her first album consisted of cover tunes by Kimberley's favorite atists. 2001 Kimberley was introduced to Billy Simard who began writings for her album Kimberley Dawn "I'm Going home" THis album received many nominations and Kimberley was presented with the CBC Galaxy Rising star award in 2003. In Toronto after receiving the her awards Kimberley was introduced to Jane Chartrand who had a album Idea. In March 2004 Healing Jane was created with the writing colaberation of Danny Shcur, Jane Chartrand and Kimberley Dawn. Healing Jane was now recorded and ready for the pubic.
Kimberley received awards for best produced album and Keeper of the spirit award.
Now in 2005 Kimberley is up for female vocalist of the year at the 2005 Nammy awards.
Currently working on her 4th album still untitled, Kimberley is in the studio and working hard a creating a ablum with the same genre but with a twist.
Kimberley will be releasing her first Video from the Album "I'm Going Home" with Saying Goodbye to the Blues which is scheduled to be released in April of 2005.
