Bio
I was born in Long Beach, CA in 1990 and moved to Sheboygan, WI when I was 5. I love music and have been singing since I can remember I started piano lessons when i was 8 and wrote my first song when I was 9 it was called "The Smiling Song". The words went 'A smile makes me feel real happy, a smile makes me feel real good, I just keep smiling all day long, I just keep smiling all day long'. Songwriting fell to the wayside and I picked it up again my junior year of highschool when I wrote a song for my speech class called "Debate". This was the first song I wrote on guitar. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in January 2006 and passed away that July. The effects of the music i provided for her while she was sick inspired me to go to college for music therapy. For the past 4 years I have attended Wartburg College and will be graduating in May 2013 with my bachelors of music in music therapy. In October 2013 I will be interning with the music therapy team at University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH. Throughout college I have continued to write music and I have put together two CDs for family and friends and am working on number 3. :) I hope to perform in Sheboygan and the surrounding area this summer.
