One of my sources of inspiration today is Martina McBride. I feel her music impacts others in a positive way. Her songs draw me in and hold my attention until she sings her very last note. This is what I strive for when performing. to leave you craving the next word, breathe, phrase and song.

I feel her music impacts others in a positive way. When I hear one of her songs, it draws me in and holds my attention until she sings her very last note. This is what I strive for when performing. One of my main goals is to perform where so many wonderful and talented artists have, at the Grand Old Opry. Yes, I am still waiting for that “Big Break” like so many of us dream for but I know God has given me a special gift, and I intend to keep singing, playing and performing to see what he has in store for me next.”

The Last To Know

The Last To Know
Kimberly Ann Lowe

There’s a baby’s voice a crying,
cause her momma’s gone today
Early age of twenty,
her momma passed away
Little Ashley she won’t understand,
why her momma, she can’t be here to play
Tell her when she’s older,
she’ll be the last to know

Danny’s softly crying,
cause the Doctors said today
I’m afraid it’s cancer,
as he dropped to his knees to pray
He shaved his head so mockingly
for the medicine would take it away
If he could know a reason,
he’ll be the last to know

The Last to Know,
why must we always be
We live our lives the best we can,
trying to succeed
No matter where life takes us,
why do we seem to be
always the last to know

A single shot was fired
It was supposed to be a Holiday
Noone could believe it,
that he ended his life that way
Left two children thinking they’re to blame
Lord they’re too innocent,
don’t take that away
If they could know a reason,
he was the last to know

The Last to Know,
why must we always be
We live our lives the best we can,
trying to succeed
No matter where life takes us,
why do we seem to be
always the last to know

Always the last to know

Misguided Angel

Misguided Angel

Friday right about five o’clock, she grabs her bag and hits the clock
The weekends here it’s calling out her name
Running out to all the wrong places, Levi jeans and different faces
Ten short hours till it’s closing time

She’s a Misguided Angel, cutting corners living life too fast
Misguided Angel, Honkey Tonkin’ Princess with a past
Doing things that young girls shouldn’t
Trying things that most girls wouldn’t
Try to win her heart you’ll finish last
This Angel sold her wings for a cowboy hat

She struts on through that swinging door, kicking up that hardwood floor
Taking names she’ll start with A to Z
Jet black eyes and an innocent kiss, short white dress the men won’t miss
Ya, closing time this angels gonna fly

She’s a Misguided Angel, cutting corners living life too fast
Misguided Angel, Honkey Tonkin’ Princess with a past
Doing things that young girls shouldn’t
Trying things that most girls wouldn’t
Try to win her heart you’ll finish last
This Angel sold her wings for a cowboy hat
I said this Angel sold her wings for a cowboy hat

....Misguided Angel

The Train Rolls On

Written By: Kimberly Ann Lowe

Well I look out my window I see clouds are rolling in
I know the storm will pass long before daylight
And I hurry to the station oh that train its due at three
Bringing my baby back to me

Well I went downtown and bought myself a dancing dress today
Just can’t wait to see him Lord its been a year in May
But that train is a rolling right on by and it aint slowing down
Won’t it bring my baby back to me

And that train rolls on and the smoke begins to clear
I know the storm will pass long before he’s here
And I hear that train a coming Lord its rolling round the bend
Bringing my baby back to me

I woke up the next morning and the clouds had gone away
Tell myself it has to be well he’s coming home today
But that train aint coming round no more and I sit till the sun goes down
Won’t it bring my baby back to me

And that train rolls on and the smoke begins to clear
I know the storm will pass long before he’s here
And I hear that train a coming Lord its rolling round the bend
Bringing my baby back to me

Yes that train rolls on and the smoke begins to clear
I know the storm will pass long before he’s here
And I hear that train a coming Lord its rolling round the bend
Bringing my baby back to me , oh bringing my baby back to me
Oh that train that’s gonna bring my baby back
