Winner of the 2006 USA Songwriting Competition, Kimberly Bass is a multi-talented singer~songwriter heralding from the high mountain country of Northern California. Her melodic, heartwarming songs blend the rustic experience of a barefoot country girl, with keen lyrical insight and divine inspiration.
She has toured extensively throughout the United States, Canada & Japan and has recently been featured on Maria Muldaur’ s Heart of Mine, "Love Songs of Bob Dylan" that remained #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart for over four consecutive weeks. She is also featured on Muldaur’ s new album to be released in July ’08, SONGS OF PEACE AND PROTEST featuring such greats as Bonnie Raitt, Mavis Staples, Linda Ronstadt & many others.
Kimberly has recently formed Femme de la Muse, an artists’ collective of women bridging the worlds with harmonic chants, crystal alchemy bowls, lush soundscapes and sacred dance. Described as other worldly, Femme de la Muse is a mystical journey through time and space.
