The
Unknowns were born out of a desire to bring three part harmony and a unique
twist on a variety of old and new songs. They weave together a mix of
jazz standards, soul, contemporary originals, soulful ballads, and lively swing,
while singing out clever lyrics that that invite the audience to laugh and join
in. An unconventional mix of piano (Kim Bowman), upbright bass (Sarah Yates),
ukulele (Allison Bowman), tenor guitar (Caitlin Bowell), and drums (Melanie
Sehman) back up “an endless supply of blues, soul, and sultry vocals.”
