A native of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Kim Harris compels audiences to listen to their hearts with her painfully pretty vocals and lyrically sound stories. This songstress began playing piano at the age of five, but it was the discovery of her vocal talent that led her toward a youth filled with classical and folk performances.
After her first showcase at “In the Dead of Winter Music Festival” this past January, Kim Harris has quickly become one of the brightest emerging singer-songwriters in Halifax, NS.
While Harris plans to release her first full-length album in 2013, to be engineered by highly acclaimed producer and musician, Dale Murray, in the meantime she can be found this upcoming fall alongside Nova Scotia’s Christina Martin and Don Brownrigg on their Eastern Canadian Tours.
