"The Washington Post"

This trio diverts from their peer group with a new style of music that follows the wholesome lead of the old standards. They cover songs by such artist as Aretha Franklin, the Pointer Sisters, the Marvelletts, the Chantels, and Pattie LaBelle. Their original songs with such titles as "Over You", "Crazy", and "My Day" explore aspects of love, including getting married and breaking up. - Sara Gebhardt

"The Prince Georges Sentinel"

For the past 8 years this dynamic female vocal group has been chasing their dream. The trio is an untraditional R&B group that focuses on perfection. They have been seen on multiple venues and have a love for music that not only tells a story, but it makes sense. - Odell B. Ruffin

"Afro American Newspaper, Washington DC"

The three women sitting at the conference table stood up and huddled together. After a brief discussion, their decision was made. The moment of truth was imminent. Performing during the Afro Interview, Kimmy & Klasse' belted out a Rendition of the National Anthem in perfect three part harmony. The Power of their performance made you think they were performing in front of thousands. - Reggie Williams

Bio

Based in Upper Marlboro, Maryland - This musical collective, Kimmy & Klasse', hosts the lovely voices of Kimmy J. Kearse, Johnita Wilson-Dillard and Gwen Wortham.

Joining together officially in 1994, lead singer, Kimmy J. Kearse, rasied in a military family, began singing with Johnita in Junior High School, and then later with Gwen Wortham at an open mic session. Over the years the women discovered that they had a distinguishable sound and a growing musical following ever so eager to enjoy any one of their many performances.

Unlike most, Kimmy & Klasse' have been afforded the opportunity through the years to hone their skills via live shows (radio & TV included) and recordings. Understanding each other's range to a science while methodically displaying a sound unbeknownst to most. Like Earth, Wind and Fire, these women blend to take you on a spiritual high, while entertaining your senses.

Their latest CD release "Reaching for the Love of Music", invites you to journey with them as each song embodies powerful yet subtle messages; providing meaning to our lives. You are invited to take a closer look and explore the movement and sound with Kimmy & Klasse' as these "sisters in music" embark upon a musical kaleidoscope.
