"Trusty's Sweet Novena CD well worth the wait."
"This CD has been long in the making, and it's a stone cold winner. Think Tracy Chapman and give her twice the power, twice the silk and three times the range."

Yeah, that's what I said.

Lyrics

Mama

Written By: Kim Trusty

Grew up in a small town in PA
With eight brothers and sisters and one woman
to care for us all

She was always there to make sure we wouldn't fall
The woman is on the ball

As a baby I was left on her doorstep with no
information at all
Not even a phone number to call
And she took me in as if I were one of her own
Never to leave me alone

No one loves me like mama
No one treats me like she does
No one loves me like my mama
No one treats me like she does
And no one loves me like my mama
No one treats me like mama
No one loves me like my mama

Mama always wore a scarf on her head
She'd read me a story before she put me to bed
She'd lean over to give a kiss on my cheek
She'd whisper in my ear, "my baby have a good night sleep"

She was always there to make sure we wouldn't fall
The woman is on the ball

No one loves me like mama
No one treats me like she does
No one loves me like my mama
No one treats me like she does
And no one loves me like my mama
No one treats me like mama
No one loves me like my mama

Mama I love you, yes I do
Mama I love you true and true
Yes I do, I really do

Can't Let Love

Written By: Kim Trusty

Tell me how long must this dream go on
Will I be foolish enough to let it last forever
I'm not able to ignore the circumstances
I find myself in

Only time, only time can tell what the future will bring for me
'Cause who knows what the future can entail for either you or me

I know that I just can't let love pass me by
Because of foolishness and selfish pride
Don't let me be foolish enough to let a good thing
like love pass me by

I can't let things remain the way they are
I've got to let them go and grow
No matter how painful that may be
That's what I need to do for me
