KindaSmooth has often been reffered to as a party band, or feel good band by many of it's regular fans. Their overall love for great music in general, makes it hard to constrict them to any one particular genre. although not having a defined genre makes marketing a bit more challenging, they hope it to only be their biggest curse until it's their greatest blessing.

Fronted by two brothers, AaronJacob and Mikey O (both left handed guitar players), KindaSmooth consists of four members. After many years in the latin industry, Aaron and Mike elected out of a successful deal to pursue their true passion of performing their music in english. Starting in local bars, in a town with virtually no live music scene, they began performing re-harmonized jazzed up versions of popular R&B/Pop songs. Although the city wasn't ready to support local original music yet, this allowed them to live comfortably off of music alone and time to focus on recording. Quickly the band turned into a trio, calling for Mikey O to move over to bass guitar. As the size of the gigs grew, the addition of long time friend and fellow church musician Robert Andrews was evidently the next step. With Rob on bass guitar and auxilary keyboards, this freed Mikey to add more "seasonings" with a second guitar.
Entertaining crowds of 50-500 every single week (over the past 4 years), in some of the most personal and intimate settings, has seasoned the musicianship and showmanship of each of the members in KindaSmooth. Their love for great music, and desire to maintain the integrity of what they do out of respect for all those who have performed before them, is apparent in each performance.
KindaSmooth performs weekly in South Texas, and is most recognized by their signature 3-4 hour (breakless) set.
