Kindatheart

Local pop music has me excited, with tons of new bands brewing about town with hits galore. Kindatheart is one such young band, bringing upbeat pop rock of the indiepop ilk, even including some trading male/female vocal harmonies to boot! Of course, I’d be remiss to not mention two of the other acts taking part; Wildfires and Rose Selavy. Rose Selavy are great friends of ours, and the band is currently in the studio working on finishing touches for what we believe is a debut LP. It’s cheap, doors are at 8 PM, and you can go home feeling good about your life. Stream this sampler EP from Kindatheart to get a feel for the night’s vibes. - Austin Town Hall

I had to have a band from the state I am based at, and what perfect option than to have a band from Austin, TX -the state capital. I think I picked a perfect band to represent the state, this band is Kindatheart with the beautiful and amazing song “Rose Petals”. This is a song that feels both indie pop and indie rock (it could be the distinct sound of the singers voices) and it’s amazing. Just melodically right in the spot and a great song to listen to. Kindatheart – Perception

Do you like jangly guitar? Lovely harmonies? Genuinely enthusiastic music? Excellent. Then you should probably have a listen to Austin, Texas quartet Kindatheart. Their track ‘Perception’ is a fun bounce through two and a half minutes of guitar based pop. Plus there’s something appealing about their EP cover. Listen below.
