Bio

After performing with the cover band, The Betweeners in the 80's she began writing her own music and licensed a song to Disney. The song, Bits and Pieces was featured in the movie An Intimate Friendship which also features a song from Melissa Etheridge.

In 2001 Cari Eden got a new original act together called the Cari Eden Band with John Metcalf, Mike Herrington and Terry Singletary. The band and these powerful rock songs were receiving rave reviews performing at clubs like Jack Rabbit’s and Freebird Café and recorded Dreaming of Oz which ended up having a high energy southern rock sound. But just as things were going well personal issues with band members tore the band apart. She moved to her mother’s cabin in the foothills of the Apalachians near Tallahassee, Florida.

After a long hiatus and seriously considering giving up performing, Cari Kindl decided to learn all aspects of music production and record her own solo album. By 2010 she released The Amazing Nowhere Girl. From that album the song Bottomless Wishing Well is featured in the hit series, They Live Among Us- Episode 5. Her latest album is Superficial Journey released in 2012.

Cari is re “Kindl”ing the band flame with former member, Mike Herrington. They are due to perform again this Spring (2013) performing songs from all three albums and the new song release Distant and Complicated.
