Kindle Rashod

Hip-hop artist/music producer extraordinaire; has his sights behind a mixing console and getting in front of the microphone. All the while he records songs for his solo projects, Kindle Rashod sells instrumentals for artists who need customized background music for their own music. His specialty is working with artists who dabble in the genres of hip-hop, pop, dance, and soul/R&B.

His offers music and production-based consulting to artists who need assistance before and during their music projects’ recording process.

Kindle Rashod is far from a newbie in music production. Very early on when he was just 10 years of age, he was invited to join some friends who had formed a rap group based on the No Limit Records hip-hop label.

“We would go to one friend’s house and record on his tape recorder… A radio would play the background music from a CD or tape…. we would pre~record on a blank tape making percussive music with only pencils and ink pens.”

The concept of making his own music stuck with him while at home rummaging through his parents’ CD collections of rap and R&B. “I was looking for… instrumentals.”

He’s sampled music from Ice Cube to the Isley Brothers and so was heavily influenced by 80’s/90’s soul music and west coast and southern hip-hop.

Kindle Rashod furthered his music education at Cuyahoga Community College where he attended courses for Recording Arts & Technology. There he learned about audio production, music business, entrepreneurship, and internet marketing. He was also a student of Tom Hess Music Corporation, an online music career mentoring program focusing both on personal development and professional development training.
