Kinfolkz&Co. is a group formed from a rap group(Entity) blended with Jamin Swanson's acoustic folk/rock/reggae style of music and Greg Mize and T-Wrexxxx(Cosmosis) composing a good portion of the music. We strive to write good music and not focus on what's "hot" or what everybody else does. Our influences range from Outkast, the Fugees, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, the Roots, Bob Marley, Hall and Oates, Michael Jackson, Prince, Sublime, Parliament, and so on. We have a very unique blend of people as well as styles thrown into a gumbo of great music. Our first cd together is Home Cooked Classics, scheduled to release late spring 2010
