Bio

Within only a year, K.I.N.G has managed to make some notable connections and professional appearances. All of which is a guarantee that we may see this King take his throne sooner than later. A young city kid from the heart of New York, K.I.N.G knew from an early age, entertainment was his calling. He would watch his favorite rappers like Lil Wayne & Dipset perform there songs in videos on Youtube. He even did his own monologues and soon after, for school. It wasn't until he started putting his vocals to beats, his peers started realizing the true potential of a young K.I.N.G. His music was different and refreshing from the drill music invading his community at the time. Favoring the likes of Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi & ASAP Rocky, K.I.N.G shaped his music to be fun and hype with a lack of violence, an occurrence K.I.N.G says was due to him simply wanting to go to parties and perform for people without it getting shut down from fights or shootings. An attitude of putting your problems to the back burners and just turning up, living in the moment heavily resonated in K.I.N.G's music & that's what caught peers' attention early. He just went with the flow of things and life. But it was his flow! He was content because he's been marching to the beat of his own drum.

Now ready to emerge to a bigger audience other than local, K.I.N.G started polishing his music. Beginning 2017, K.I.N.G released his debut tape "3 Piece Chicken Wing" (3PCW) which boasted 3 bass heavy performance records. His live performances right after got him an opportunity for his first music festival, SXSW. He headlined a SXSW stage with an early SmokePurpp and Lil Pump two emerging new artists. After that night he was given other placements for stages with the likes of music cohorts, NikeboiSwoosh, Smooky Margielaa & Kodie Shane. With new found momentum from the success of his SXSW trip, K.I.N.G continued live promo of his debut tape 3PCW by hitting up trendy venues in the city. Soon after, instead of K.I.N.G looking for work, work started looking for K.I.N.G. His cool, laid back demeanor was getting him modeling gigs as well as appearances to just show up and have fun with partygoers. Fall 2017, after a summer filled of consistency K.I.N.G took to Atlanta's A3C, alongside his 3PCW, another uptempo record to join the trio. "Big Mouth Ben" (BMB) was another performance record written in ode to Atlanta's citizen, Big Mouth Ben. Ben was a previous homeless man who used trial & error through his struggle to overcome the odds and owning his own convenience store which K.I.N.G found common grounds with. A3C is his second festival attending and performing ever. Though not the Main A3C stage, K.I.N.G was still granted access to the main stage at Georgia's Freight Depot and performed official stages curated by notable brands such as Spinrilla and Squarespace's Discovery stage alongside Smooky Margielaa & others.

Returning to NYC, K.I.N.G was excited to open up and share the stage with his friends for ASAP Mob at the Dipset Reunion concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom. The following christmas holiday, K.I.N.G took the time to move in a bigger home where he can build and strengthen structure with his new partners. He also took the time to show support to other artists making noise for themselves in his city and away by appearing at events and being an added hype to the crowd. K.I.N.G has molded an image for himself relatable to today's social trends while staying true to himself. His mission of getting people to forget their worries, live life to the fullest & have fun spews out his music and is the aura in the air when he is present.
