Barry was born in South Arkansas and started playing guitar at the age of 3 in the 1950s. In 1962, at the age of 12, he formed his first band. When he finished high school in 1959, he moved to the Chicago, Illinois, area where he played in a band while he attended Chiropractic College. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in 1978, where he continued college and his music. He played in a Southern rock band in Georgia until he moved to South Texas in 1980 where he formed a successful band, The Kind. In 1989 he moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where he formed a rock band, The Outpatients. The Outpatients were picked up by Bobby Whitlock of Derek and the Dominos, and then played as the Bobby Whitlock Band. As the Bobby Whitlock Band they played in New Orleans at the House of Blues with The Band and Levon Helm, The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, and other large festivals and venues. He recorded with Bobby Whitlock on his About Time CD which was released in 1999. Since then he has been living in North Mississippi near Memphis where he has been playing small venues on Beale Street with Stax recording artists and going back and forth to Texas to play with various artists, including the Kearney Brothers, who played and recorded with the blues great Johnny Clyde Copeland. He played with Buddy Miles in a show with Kenny Wayne Sheppard, and the Kentucky Headhunters. His unique style has come full circle due to his talent, perseverance and diverse musical experiences over his many years of hard work and dedication to the music.

Tommy learned to play the guitar at the age of 12. He and his cousin got a band together where he started playing the drums. He played with a group called Southern Comfort. In addition, he played the bass for Lola Cagle; there he realized that the bass guitar was the instrument for him. He played in a gospel group called the Gospel Airs in the mid 90's. He went on to play with Southbound, One More Time, Green Street, The River Road Band and now with the King Bailey Band.

Steve started playing drums the way most all little boys do, but he continued and has been playing for forty years. He was influenced early on by Buddy Rich and of course Elvis, since he lived in Memphis as a child. His parents encouraged him to pursue his talent and he did, even though there have been times that they were unsure that was the right thing to do. As he grew older he became interested in the styles of Mitch Mitchell of the original "Jimi Hendrix Experience, Ginger Baker of "Blind Faith", and John Bonham of Led Zeppelin. He has played in many rock and roll bands over the years, including playing drums in an Elvis impersonator's band. Steve made the decision early on that if I was going to starve to death playing music it wasn't going to be someone else's. Barry and Steve started playing together in the Fall of 1998 and they have evolved into King Bailey.
