King David tha Vessel

In the Bible, King David was known for many things, but most notably for being a man after God’s own heart. Now here in the 21st century, the heart of God is embodied and sought after by “king David tha Vessel:, with a music ministry gifting that includes Christian Hip-Hop, Contemporary Gospel, singing, and song writing that’s offered with a passion so desperately needed for the times in which we live.

With a fresh voice and sound “king David tha Vessel” (or KD) blends skill, talent, the ability to minister to various groups and ages, and charisma with the two elements most essential for breakthrough ministry: God’s word and His anointing. The result is cutting edge music that bridges gaps stirs, motivates, convicts and compels all while encouraging individuals to walk in God’s will for their lives.

Born the son of a preacher into a family with strong musical ties, KD starting singing at an early age and was introduced to the church at birth. As with so many that are raised in church, the temptations of the world began to beckon to KD and his desire to taste the forbidden fruit led him away from the church, where his rap career actually began.

After years of spinning his wheels outside of God’s will working on various secular music endeavors, KD rededicated his life to CIRST in November 2001 and has not stopped progressing since. Now KD uses the years of experience along with the thing he’s still learning to minister though song a message that is sincere, heart felt and all JESUS.

As a member of the independent Christian rap group “NOJUDAS”, KD was introduced to various facets of the “Holy Hip Hop” community with songs like “Burnt UP” and “Road 2 Damascus”. Now with his steps ordered by God into a solo ministry offering, “King Davit ha Vessel” will be making waves in a genre that’s already on the verge of overflow.
