Bio
King Dozier was born as Antuan Reginald Dozier. He is the nephew of Motowns Lamont Dozier and grandson of Reginald Dozier. He was born in San Bernardino, California but was raised in Detroit Michigan. At the age of thirteen his uncle (Reginald Dozier III) taught him how to play the keyboards and how to make and produce different beats and sounds. While in middle school Antuan played in the percussion section for the schools marching band. His instrument of choice was the snare drum.
As most children his age, he enjoyed watching music videos and wondered what it would be like to be a rap artist. Antuan started writing his own lyrics and entered into many school talent shows with his friends. He rapped so good that he gained popularity throughout school and his neighborhood. While Antuan was gaining friends and popularity his uncle was buying more equipment for his studio. By the age of 17, Antuan was in high school and was ready to release his first album. He sold and distributed his own album throughout his school and community. The album sold pretty well.
King Dozier always loved music and always worked on his creativity, rhythm, delivery and versatility. In March 2010 King Dozier signed with The Bottom Line Sports & Entertainment Group, in Atlanta, GA. With this new family he would perform for NWORCS Radio, and independent internet radio station. He has worked with many artists and assisted his uncle in his studio. (Hanger Productions) King Dozier has gracefully blessed the stage with artist like Big Davo, C-Sharp, Killa Kool, and GP the Street Author. King is currently working in the studios and is working on his first solo major album entitled Mr. Radio: This is Hip-Hop. His current single What makes me tick is making its way on various social network sites and college radio.
