James "King Jamez" Bradshaw was born in Heidelberg, Germany then relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Fl. His childhood was remarkable while also challenging. After his parents separated, while in elementary school Jamez moved to North Carolina where it was easier financially for his mother to raise him and his sister. Keeping friends was hard because he moved frequently so Jamez learned to be independent at a young age. Along with him Jamez took his love for music, back in 95' he found this love while riding on the turnpike in South Florida listening to “Me against the World” by Tupac Shakur one of his favorite album of all times. While in middle school Jamez began to take part in different poetry competitions, this is where his talents noticeably far exceed those of his peers. His distinct use of vocabulary and rhyme is what sets Jamez apart from all other artist. While mimicking the storytelling style of idols like Slick Rick and the remarkable delivery of Tupac Shakur, Jamez has managed to capture the attention of fans worldwide stemming from the southeastern region of the US. Currently Jamez is a graduating senior attending Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Ga. While working towards his Bachelors of Arts in the School of Mass Media Arts, Jamez continues to push his music and his indie label B.E.A.S.T Nation (Black Entrepreneurs Always Stand Tall). Recently Jamez has performed for music moguls such as Big Daddy Kane & Dj Greg Street while also opening up for other upcoming artists like 2chainz, Lil Ru, Future, and B.O.B
