Inspired by the skills of Big L, Outkast, UGK and Heiroglyphics, King Kurt has started making hip hop in 2007 and sees it as the most powerful tool for spreading knowledge. Through the word, we speak our reality into existence. It is his form of spell casting. Blown away by lyricism and word play, Kurt is constantly excited by the endless possibilities of mixing words and emotions to create a unique language. 2010: Signed to Mercenary Entertainment & dropped the joint album Shipping & Handling with Hollow Tip featuring Snoop Dogg, Dubee aka. SugaWolf, and others. 2011 - 2012 : Started collaborating with Young Gully produced the album Mirror Minds. [DATES]: Kurt has performed in the San Francisco Bay area and Central Coast of California as the opening act for Jacka of the Mob Figaz, Too Short, Philthy Rich, J. Stalin, Burner, Kek de Sneak. He has also performed alongside Drew Down, Mr. Fab, Shady Nate, J. Diggs, Percy P. [DATES] Founded and operated his own label Rage Life Entertainment and produced shows featuring acts like Killa Priest of Wu-Tang, Devin the Dude, and A Plus of Heiroglyphics. 2013 - 2017: Kurt linked with Hip Hop Congress and was throwing hip hop shows. Him and DLabrie booked such events as G Jones, Thriftworks, Bleep Bloop, Nico Luminous, Stylust Beats, Slump, Yheti, Killa Priest of Wu-Tang, Devin the Dude, Casual & A+ of Hieroglyphics. NOW Summer 2019 May- Performed at “Lightning In A Bottle” music festival Finished solo project the “Balance Game” and an EP with Galactik Vibes called “FLOW STATE” June- World tour with 2 Pacs OutLawz in Russia, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Barcelona, and Amsterdam performed at “Meadows in the Mountains” in Bulgaria, Encore Fest in Moscow, July- opened up for Nappy Rootz at the HardRock Casino Opened up for Andre Nikatina in Nevada City at the Haven Recent Releases December 2018: The 8 is Enough Cypher Series (Part. 1) - Feat. Percee P, Young Gully, DLabrie & more. Coming Soon Balance Game EP: a high-energy album with conscious lyrical messages delivered through a unique collection of sonic expression.
