Kings Road Band

Kings Road Band is a quartet of classic rock ‘n’ roll loving humans. Inspired by the blissful tones of The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin and others, they specialize in a unique style that combines electric blues and psychedelic rock with a modern touch sure to get any audience off their seats. The founding members are brother and sister Carlos and Gloria Hernandez, who bring the loving soul of their family to every performance. The band’s instrumentation is a dynamic lineup consisting of Gloria on vocals, Carlos on lead guitar, Charlie Fountaine on keyboard and George Liebel on drums. 

In March of 2012, Kings Road performed live on 88.9 FM KXLU’s regular weekly program “Liveation” for an audience of thousands of potential listeners, and the band released their debut self-titled EP in April of 2012. Since the EP release, the band continues to perform around the Los Angeles area at venues such as The One Eyed Gypsy, Harvard and Stone, The Redwood, Los Globos, Drawing on the Moon festival, Serenity festival, The Good Hurt, The Last Bookstore, Silverlake Lounge, Lot #1,  Rusty’s Surf Ranch, The Down and Out, House of Blues and many more!
