Bio
King's Bullet is a brand new venture for two hit Nashvile songwriters, Trey Bruce and Loni Rose. The two have created a completely unique style of country with Bruce's pop country sensibilities complementing Loni's eclectic folk presence.
Trey Bruce:
Emmy Award winning, Memphis, Tennessee native Trey Bruce brings a diverse mixture of musical influences to his songwriting. He grew up playing drums on the Memphis club scene and touring with R&B and rock bands.
Trey arrived in Nashville in 1989 and signed with MCA Music Publishing as a songwriter. He quickly found success when Shelby Lynn hit the charts with the top 15 single, “Things Are Tough All Over.” While at MCA, he celebrated his first of three number one Randy Travis records, with “Look Heart No Hands” followed by “Whisper My Name” and “Spirit Of A Boy, Wisdom Of A Man”. In 1993, Trey signed on as the first writer at Big Tractor music. Since that time, he has had numerous #1 and top 10 songs recorded by Faith Hill, Trisha Yearwood, SheDaisy, Trace Adkins, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Carrie Underwood, Deanna Carter, Diamond Rio, Lorrie Morgan, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Gary Allen, Chris Ledoux, Jo Dee Messina, and the list goes on.
Loni Rose:
Amid the beauty of the Southeast and its indicative heat, a singer-songwriter has blossomed by the name of Loni Rose. While she may call Nashville home, she has been busy generating global attention. Her pop-country songs have found their way into the films such as American Pie, Lovewrecked, Garth Brooks Produced Movie Unanswered Prayers as well as television shows like America’s Next Top Model, Providence, Teen Mom and The Hills.
Riding this wave she has been embraced by the Nashville songwriting community collaborating with the likes of Shawn Mullins, George Teren, Dave Pahanish, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Stephen Allen Davis and Trey Bruce. Currently, she is working on recording an album with the renowned Nashville singer-songwriter, Trey Bruce.
