Biography
Emmanuel Okose popularly known as Soul E , from Delta State, Nigeria. (Born March 11th 1984). He was Born into a Family of Six and he is the First Born of the Family. His Father is an Evangelist whose healing ministry has touched a lot of lives in Nigeria.Soul E Started singing at the age of 8, opening crusades for his father, writing his first song at the age of 12 titled ;I've Got An Happy Vibe'. He is a good listener, understanding, humble and has a terrific Passion for his Music and fans. He is a Songwriter , Composer, Singer and a Live Act Performer
MUSIC CAREER
Soul E released his first album at age 21, in 2006, aptly titled 'Naija Is blessed' with a Hit Single 'Soul E Baba Dey Here', which went on to sell over 2 Million records across Nigeria, going on to commercial and critical acclaim and carting home numerous Awards. The Single' Soul E Baba Dey Here' from the Album 'Naija Is Blessed topped all the Music charts including (MTV Base, Channel O, Ben Tv London, TV 3, Soundcity, Nigezie). The Song won the first ever Fastest rising Hip Hop Artiste 2006 Personality Award and also the first ever Hip Hop World Revolution Award 2007 , Best New Act Amen Awards 2007.
Following the tremendous Success of his first album , In April 2008, he released a new
single titled 'Esoji which also topped numerous charts in Nigeria and across Africa. In May of the same year he released a double album totled " His Excellency 1&2', which went to sell 3.5 million records across Africa
In 2010, his newest single 'Many Things' has also topped various charts and has also won numerous Awards including the Dream Stars 2010 Awards For The Best Song of the Year.
Soul E is a terrific Live act and an all round Performer. Highly prolific, he was the first ever Hip-Hop Soul Singer to create a Live Performing Act around his Music.
At the moment Soul E is working on a Three Album project- A secular album titled 'The other Side of Me' with the hit Single 'Many Things' and the gospel Album titled "The Rebirth' and finally 'The Best Of Both Worlds, an exciting Collaboration between Soul E and Fikayo.
In Summary, He has done hit smashing Collaborations with local and International Acts like 2Face (E Be Like Say), Kokoville from Ghana, Ghost writers from Houston, USA, Koproduc from South Africa, Maxwell from Canada and many other prolific Acts.
