King Warbler formed in July of 2016 in Austin, TX. They play doombirdpop, a style of sadness, humor, and rock 'n' roll. The lyricality is sincere and emotive, moving carefully between open imagery and direct description.With every member from a jazz and funk background, the band gives every musician a chance to say their piece without breaking rank: the sound is dynamically expansive and always focused.
