Bio
King Washington. A name chosen due to the late George Washington and his potential to be the King of America. He was offered to be King after fighting off the British, however he declined the offer arguing that Kingdoms were the very thing they fought against. And so today, four young musicians aspire to that notion, reminding the nation of the British in all of us. And they set that reminder through their music.
The British influences consist of bands mainly from the 60s such as The BEATLES, The Zombies, The Who, Radiohead, and the Talking Heads. That's not to say that they don't appreciate modern 'american' music, rather they are merely attempting to bring back styles of music have nearly diminished. KW consist of two guitarists, a bassist and a drummer, all of whom have been playing music their whole life.
