Bio
Kira Morrison is a singer/songwriter and guitarist emerging onto the music scene with a warm, upbeat and enjoyable sound reminiscent of classic and contemporary soft pop and folk.
Kira discovered her passion for music during high school, training with her school's choir and with the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, who she recently represented in the 2014 Bands4Good Challenge, raising over $300 for the school and winning 'Best In Genre' for pop. Since high school, she has been writing songs and gaining experience performing in musicals and at various venues around Los Angeles, including the House of Blues Voodoo Lounge, Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood, Room 5 Lounge, Republic of Pie, and The Nerdist Showroom. Kira also released her debut EP, "Progressions" in March of 2014, which is currently available on iTunes. She has played guitar for nine years and has been singing for seven years, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in music performance with a vocal emphasis at Los Angeles College of Music.
